George Francis Craddock in 1918
Inducted July 25, 1918, at Lebanon, Missouri, as American involvement in World War I deepened. Served in Co. "F", 70th Infantry from August 10, 1918, to January 14, 1919. The Armistice was signed on November 11, 1918, ending World War I, by which time over 2,000,000 American soldiers had been sent to France. He was honorably discharged as a Private on January 17, 1919, at Camp Funston, Kansas, having never left the continental U.S. George Francis Craddock's Serial Number was 3797169.
